Green
Density
Quiet, yet
Older than
You and
Me

In the water
The song
Of many
Wisdom is
Playful and
Happy

Mist, hanging
On the
Shore
Cool
Damp, crystals
Of
Air

Smell of
Wet logs
And
Sea grass
Is
Everywhere

To East
and West
Sunlight
Glistens
Gems on
The snow

Strong and
Swift birds
Fly
Through
Clouds Lying
Low

Those who
Walk on
The earth
Beneath
Hold another
Knowledge still

Together, all
Speak
Their stories
Of creation
They know
So well

Wind blows strong, slamming against the bedroom window. Sun begins to rise, coloring the sky gold with blue, flat, widely spaced clouds. Raven wanting everyone to get up calls, "caw, caw, caw....caw, caw ,caw." Then, flies away. Shortly after, small birds begin, "chirp, chirp, chirp." Then quiet again except for the wind. As the sun rises higher, the entire sky grows brilliant yellow with clouds beaming white.

Clear
Winter night
Moon
Shines
Bright

Nearly
Full
Glows
The
Heart
Knows

Softness
And
Pureness
Filling
Me with
Willingness

To
Move on
Through
My life
Renewed

Ocean, full of love.
Deep, no bottom
As the sky above.

Bird song, flowers bloom,
Grass, animals
Wind carries their tune.

In stars, planets, too
Flows, everything
Endless and true.

Flowing
Nourishing
Obvious
To see
What
Flows through
Nature, flows
Through
Me

Eagle flies
Swift
Through the skies

Vision acute
Sees
More than 1 route

Always delight
To
Be in flight

In bad weather
Enduring
Doesn't ruffle a feather

Strength and courage
Overflow
Never left discouraged

Vision never shrouded
Though
The skies are clouded

Through ever-changing days
Constancy
Remains

I decided to try some digital fine art today.
I created this piece from a photograph I took 2 summers ago in Yellowstone Park.
It is currently for sale as a 14x11 print with a variety of paper choices or on canvas. Just click on the image to go to my store.

A stream flows with knowledge. It is clear and pure, as people's lives should be.  The stream is cradled in the Earth for it is through knowledge of the Earth one can live. A stream nourishes everyone, people, plants, animals and always flows, just as people's lives should be.

Nature is always changing. When people don't go in step with Nature then there is suffering. Fighting Nature causes destruction.

There are people who don't respect the environment and there are people who do. The ones who don't have no connection to it. They just see a lifeless object. I think of farmers who grow what once was a food, like corn, but now is a conglomary of chemicals yet, is still being labeled 'corn.'
Those people who do respect the environment 'see' it from the heart and feel sorrow or joy with it.
