Life is a learning process to gain more knowledge of yourself. That's why everyone is here.
Now the education of this planet doesn't teach about ourselves, but rather facts. Then you are suppose to take these facts-pieces of information-and get employed. That's it. That's all life is for most of the world.
This is what's causing destruction. Lack of education.

This capitalist mindset creates greed, division. It creates lack-haves vs. have-nots. Indigenous peoples lived thousands of years without money. In Western countries when money came onto the seen their was always greed and wanting to conquer more peoples and aquire more land-look at the US. Just 200 years old, this country has destroyed the Earth it lives on. The US is a leader in polluting the air, water, land. The Indigenous peoples are now 4th World.

Life doesn't have to be this way. Just a change in education and people will find contentment within themselves.

Having lived in Montana a few years, I've concluded that if you live in buffalo country, you need to live like the buffalo. You are just taking into consideration the Laws of Nature.
An example is if someone lives in a country in the Southern Hemisphere and has never seen snow and one day wants to, so they decide to go to a Northern country in January. If they wear the same clothes that they do in their own country they will become ill, maybe die.
There are Natural Laws everywhere that need to be respected and considered whenever you go.

There are people who don't respect the environment and there are people who do. The ones who don't have no connection to it. They just see a lifeless object. I think of farmers who grow what once was a food, like corn, but now is a conglomary of chemicals yet, is still being labeled 'corn.'
Those people who do respect the environment 'see' it from the heart and feel sorrow or joy with it.
